Based in The Netherlands, Bas joins us from Italian system integrator Videoworks where he held the role of European Sales and Branch Manager.
As Commercial Director Bas is responsible for overall commercial leadership and strategy. His primary mission is to own the company P&L, drive business development, top line sales execution and maximize demand for the Pro Systems solutions.
After finishing his marketing management study in Groningen, Bas wanted to follow his hobby in Audio-Video and domotics by becoming the manager of a small High-End AV store in Groningen which is still existing today (de Groef Audio). He later was approached by Sennheiser to develop their broadcast sales. After 7 years with Sennheiser Bas started his own company in Audio and Video named “Audiopro distribution”. In 2007 he sold his shares and started a new role at Sony Professional Solutions Europe where he became the territory coordinator for the Benelux heading a talented group of people and being responsible for the EU yachting market. After Sony Bas moved to Videoworks where he became the European Sales and Branch Manager (excluding Italy).
